We have enjoyed building with Hayes Homes. Greg and Sherry have been wonderful to work with. They are very professional, knowledgeable and extremely helpful in all aspects of the building process. Greg Hayes & Sherry Huse are a great team and made the building of our home much easier and more enjoyable. The network of Subcontractors that they use are very professional and do perform. They have long established relationships with their Subs, which means they are proven performers and can be trusted to get the job done right. Sherry is very good at paying attention to detail and keeping everyone on track especially you as the owner/builder inuring that you have your finish selections done on time. She was also very good to collaborate with on the interior design coming up with many creative ideas. I think their best asset is their positive attitude. During our planning, we visited several home shows and began to plan the details of our home. We first met Greg Hayes at a home builder’s show. What attracted us to becoming owner/builders was the ability to build the home of our dreams at a considerable savings in comparison to paying someone else to build it. This savings enabled us to add some of the upgrades and square footage we might not have been able to otherwise.
We met with Greg and his assistant Sherry initially to determine if this was the path we wanted to take to get to our end goal. What impressed us during this initial meeting was the knowledge and detail they were able to provide us with. During this first meeting, they recommended the architect we would eventually use. This was the first of many ways Greg and Sherry’s advice led us to making great choices. The home designed for us met and exceeded our expectations!
Building a custom home is a challenge! Greg and Sherry have been actively engaged in this project every step of the way. Their wealth of knowledge and expertise has been extremely helpful and has aided in ensuring this project has run as smooth a possible. The established relationships with the recommended subcontractors has facilitated communication and heightened the level of customer service provided.
Greg regularly walks through the house to ensure all details are accurate. He offers insight into the various aspects of home building. Sherry is always available to answer questions and provide contact information.
We would definitely recommend Hayes Homes to anyone planning on building a home. There is a great deal of satisfaction in being actively engaged in building your own home, and it’s extremely comforting to know Hayes Homes is with you every step of the way.
